About the Artist

Joey grew up in a large family household in Massachusetts before relocating to Tennessee. He was never interested in music as a child but his Father was very much involved in the "country life". He spent many years on road with his Father listening to and discussing late 80s and early 90s country music.

In highschool he became heavily involved in the Irish folk genre, but he never quite enjoyed it. At age 21 decided he wanted to go back to his roots, and pursue a career in country music. At the height of Covid-19 he said goodbye to his family and moved to Nashville to become a singer/songwriter. His greatest influences are Alan Jackson, Tracy Lawrence, and Mark Chesnutt.

Since the move, Joey been has been writing songs with local songwriters and playing shows in local bars. He chooses to avoid the Broadway scene as he believes his music won't do well there. In 2022 Joey released his first album "Tennessee Summer" and is known around town for his song "Nashville Girl". Joey plans to make his mark on the classic country genre.
